Introduction

A blog of my very own, where my ideas and thoughts can be seen by those whom they concern. Perhaps it may be seen as a burden, but in a world where one's ideas are not heard because of age and/or status, it appears to me to be more of a medium of expression. The name of this page is derived from my beliefs. I'm an atheist living in America, a land where %71 of adults consider themselves Christian. Despite a clear separation that was to be implemented as stated in the Constitution of the United States, religion and politics do much too often meet and the effects are profound and in almost all instances, in my opinion, negative. I enjoy classical music as well as some modern music, but as time goes on, rock and roll seems to lose it's appeal to me. In addition to music, which I plan to make my career, I enjoy intelligent discussion and debate with Christians, but only those who are willing to see my side as I am willing to see theirs, and conservatives.

This blog will follow all major events that involve politics and religion that I either strongly support or strongly oppose. I will bring the arguments from both sides, present the facts as I see them, and give my verdict. Also I will keep a running reference of all the arguments made for Christianity that are presented to me and, like before, I will provide both sides of the argument and my verdict on the matter. The writings to be contained within this article are not necessarily meant to be taken as fact and are simply intended to make the reader examine their own beliefs and learn about the opposite viewpoint as well.

The format I will try my best to follow is a summary of both sides and my verdict for those who are pressed for time and then a more in depth analysis for those who wish to examine the finer points. I can be reached at anoreo@gmail.com and, expecting that there are no extremely urgent matters to be dealt with, I will do my best to promptly reply if the comment should decreed that I respond. The blog will ideally be updated once to twice a week, but the posts can increase or decrease in number depending on my workload and the amount of time given to me, as well as the issues that may attract my attention. If you wish to debate with me, simply email me and we can work something out. Hateful and otherwise inappropriate comments will not be tolerated. Swearing does not fall under that category, but targeting individuals by race, gender, etc... is strictly forbidden.

On the first day, He created this blog, and He saw it was good. So, for the rest of the day, he played his guitar.
